earthquake

Blouse: Zara; Skirt: Jcrew; Shoes: Nine West; Belt: Jcrew; Necklaces: PX; Watch: Kenneth Cole
See those shoes?
Those shoes took me down 18 flights of stairs today, with a quickness...
and my feet don't even hurt!  Thank you Nine West!

5.9 earthquake today in Virginia, but I definitely felt it here in NYC.
I felt the "sway" 18 floors up.  Sitting at my desk, I felt my chair wobble and watched my computer monitor sway back and forth.  I'll be honest, I thought it was something worse and grabbed my bag and left the building right away.

I think the Northeast is generally insulated from natural disasters.  Very rarely do we deal with hurricanes, tornadoes or earthquakes, so I think this was a very unique experience for many of us.

Did you guys feel it?  Do you have "tremor envy"? :)
People in California must be laughing at us.
It's ok, I laugh about southerners when they have an inch of snow.

Girls can do anything in cute shoes! U go girly. Being from CA earthquakes are the norm, but never fun. Loving that sweet blouse.

Gorgeous outfit, I love the blouse!

Madrid is also an earthquake-free area, but we usually feel subtly those that take place in the south coast (the Mediterranean is a high-risk earthquake zone). Most people here don't notice them, but I must be extra sensitive to earthquakes, because I've felt all eathquakes that have taken place in Spain (and have been felt in Madrid) in the last few years. Okay, that has been two, but hey, I felt both of them :P .
