Last weekend, I was hoping Labor day weekend would be filled with grilled food, watermelon and a lounge chair. Instead, it was filled with rakes, work gloves, garbage bags and bottled water breaks. Cleaning up after Irene may have taken up most of the weekend, but was pretty easy. We were very lucky. It made a mess, buy didn't destroy anything that can't be replaced.

I'm glad you and your family stayed safe during Irene! I hope you can have your barbecue another weekend.
Glad you were ok and that nothing was majorly damaged. Plenty of time for late summer/early fall BBQs.
